BANK - ELEPHANT - 1960's
In the 1960's I had a plastic bank that was an elephant.  When you put a coin in his trunk and pushed his tail, his trunk would move to his back where the slot for the coin to go in was located.  I think the elephants name was Sylvester, but I am not sure.  There were about 4 different banks made, but I do not remember any of them except the elephant because that is the one that I had.  Can you please help me?  Thank you.

BOARD GAME - GIRL PHONE/ DIALING UP A BOY
I am trying to find a game from the 90s, that involved girls playing a board game that included a telephone, and during certain turns each player would dial the phone and see if a boy would go on a date with them. The phone also might have been pink, and might have been popular during slumber parties.  I thought it was called "Girl Talk" but from what I can find that is not the same game.  I also believe there is a Simpson's TV episode where Homer is using the same type of girl-phone game. I hope you can help, and thanks for your wonderful and helpful site!!
BOARD GAME - GOLF
I played a golf game during the mid-to-late 1960s that consisted of a large, single-piece board perhaps 3' x 3', with cartoon-like depictions of 18 holes on a golf course. Each holes was depicted by 3 paths leading from tee to green, printed in three different colors (red for slice, yellow for fairway, blue for slice). Each path contained a number of dots representing 10 or 20 yard intervals of distance. To tee off, you announced what club you would use and turned over the top card in a deck. The card indicated which path (red, yellow, or blue) your ball traveled down, and how far. Players used pins with large white spherical heads to represent their balls. You stuck the pin on the black dot on the path that represented how far your drive carried. >From that point, you repeated the process for each shot, with special rules for putting and resolving bunker shots. I have never seen the game again, either online or in person, and I'd love just to find out it's name and perhaps find a photo. This might be a hopeless cause...

CHORUS HEAD PIANO KEYBOARD  - 1980's
I had a toy that I loved when I was little but it is gone and I want to find it for my daughter.  I don't know who made it, but it was played with by me in the 1980's (mid) and I know that it must have been battery operated.  It was a keyboard/piano that could sit in your lap. There were different colored round "balls"/heads with eyes (and I think that one had a top hat on) that would open their mouths when you pressed the keys. They sounded like a chorus instead of a piano note.  I have searched Ebay and can't find anything that might even be something like it.  I was wondering if you could help me out.  ANYTHING would be of great service.  Thank you so much!

DOLL - TEARY DEARY or BABY TENDER LOVE - 1973?
I bought a new doll in an Australian rural township for my little daughter in 1973? I thought it was called Teary Deary or Baby Tender Love, but haven't been able to find an example that matches it - Baby Tender Love is the most like it but from memory our dolly had a bare head (or perhaps fine white blonde - NOT Thick and/or long and/or shaggy). I don't remember original clothing/accessories at all so don't know if it had any. I made it a little fitted hooded dress that was sewn onto the doll, the hood fitted on its head perfectly smoothly and completely, which it wouldn't have if there was bulk of a lot of hair. The main details I remember are that it was only about 11 inches tall and with a quite cute face, proportional to a toddler and it didn't have any functions, e.g. walking, eating, crying etc. It was just a basic good old fashioned dolly. I would love to identify that doll but I'm having problems. Can you help at all?

EDUCATIONAL COMPUTER TOY - 1980's
I was given a toy around 1986 or '87 that I do not recall the name of or brand, and am now trying to figure out.  It resembled a small computer.  I think it was grey or off-white and was about the size of a piece of construction paper, and a couple inches thick.  I THINK it had different plastic sheets that you put on it, as well as a number pad (?), and you were to answer questions about the various pictures.  I'm not too clear on that part, but what I do remember is that when you got something right, it would very distinctly say, "yes, you are right!" in a very computer-ish sounding "voice".  I cannot for the life of me find any information on this toy.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

MINIATURE FIGURE TOYS
I'm trying to find out more information on a set of toys my daughters were given. They are miniature plastic princess dolls and accessories that have (L.G.T.I. 1995) on the bottom of some of the figures.  The accessories are about 2-2 1/2 inches square "plates",and each one has a different theme, e.g.: princess bedroom, baby room (with cradle that rocks and is removable)with changing table, nursery theme (also with moving rocking horse that is removable), etc. all pieces have a octagon shape impression on them I figure to hold a doll on or so the "plates" can be attached to one another. I also have a horse drawn carriage that is pink, purple, and yellow I believe belong to this set. since the colors seem to match the different pieces. I really would like to find out more about these toys and if there is a book that shows them in it or a place to find more of them. Cant wait to hear back. Thanks Eileen

NON ELECTRIC MICKEY MOUSE MAGICIAN TOY - DISNEY  - 1970's
I am looking for a Mickey Mouse magician toy that came out in 1970. It does standard magic tricks when you press buttons in the back. Its about 12 inches in height with a removable cape, an extendable magic wand, a magic box, and a top hat, not the Fantasia hat. thank you
PERISCOPE THAT DROPS BOMBS - 1970's EARLY 1980's
I'm trying to find the name of a toy I played with as a child in the late 70's to early 80's.  It was a game where you look through an overhead scope/periscope that looks down onto a rotating dish/platform that has different sized craters.  The object is to spot the craters through the scope and I believe pressing a button on the scope would drop a "bomb" which you try to get to land into the craters.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I need to know the correct name this toy was marketed under so I can try to find some replacement parts.
PLASTIC TOY - SMILEY FACE BIRD
In the early 70's I had a plastic toy that was in the shape of a bird that hung by a spring from the ceiling. When you would pull down on it, it would go up and down and the wings would flap. PURSE - SHAPED LIKE A HOUSE - MID 1970's
In the mid-seventies around Easter my mother would purchase me a "Easter purse"  It was vinyl (like a Barbie doll case)in the shape of a house.  The house had windows, a door and maybe flowers painted on it.  You opened it at the top or "roof".  My mother always bought it in a department store and I liked it so much, I got it at least three years in a row.  My mother has no recollection of this and no one I know does either.  I'd really like to find one & have searched Ebay and the internet.  I am hoping you might know who made this and maybe I will eventually find it. Thanks in advance for your response, Michele

RIDE ON TOY - FROG
I am trying to identify a toy.  I received this toy in the early 80's, but it is likely a hand-me-down from the early to mid 70's.  It is a frog ride-on which had two settings, one which would allow the body to swing in a stationary position, and the other which allowed it to "hop" as you made the swinging gesture.  My memories are vague, but I believe there was metal in the construction of the body.  The only information I have is that it may have been made by WONDER, but this has not been confirmed.  Ebay and internet searches have been fruitless.  Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

RUBBER BEAD FILLED ELEPHANT

My son is crushed....and I have to admit I've grown kind of fond of the little fella. *smile* The info on the bottom says "Elephant" "Toy-Mate" "Made in China" "Reg No PA ...." with a few numbers that I can't really make out any more. Can you help? He's so sad. Thanks for any input. We bought him at a Dollar Tree (he did, with his own money...) about a year ago. Please help!
RUBY EGG DYE DECORATING KITS
Do you still handle the Ruby Egg Dye Decorating Kits for marbleized eggs?  It had a resin dye that floated on top of the water and a wire egg dipper that you put the egg onto and dipped it down through the floating dye and it made a beautiful, shiny, marbleized egg.  The only drawback was the long drying time.  Do you know if this type of egg dying kit is still manufactured, and if so, where can I find it? We used to use it 50 years ago, when I was a kid. Thanks, Jane

I had this toy when I as was 6-7 years old (1967-68) It look like a small TV with a record player on top and had a cardboard strip of 4 or 5 pictures you would insert into it. STICKS AND BRICKS
In the mid 1940's I was given a "Sticks and Bricks" building set for Christmas.  The set had a green perforated board where 1/8" sticks could be inserted into the holes.  Then bricks were threaded over the sticks to for walls.  The set also had floor and roof panels for different buildings and clear plastic windows and white door and window sills and headers.  The bricks came in (mostly) red whole and half bricks.  here were also a few gray bricks that could be used as foundations.  Any idea who made this building set and what it might be worth in used condition?

TOY SHOTGUN - FIREBIRD
My son found what I'm guessing is a 60's or 70's vintage toy shotgun at a garage sale.  The shotgun has two metal barrels side by side and cocks when you separate the plastic stock from the barrels.  The name on the gun is "Fire Bird" with a stylized "Tm" trademark symbol between "Fire" and "Bird."  The gun spring fires from each barrel, one at a time and is in good working order.  Do you know when this was made, it's country of manufacture or whether there is any collectible value to it?  This item is not on Ebay as a "for sale" or "sold" item and Google returns no info either.  Thanks!

Any info you could dig up would be awesome.
TOY TOWN CONSTRUCTION KIT
In the late 70's my father bought me a toy (that was way to complex for a kid under 10), but I loved it and would like to find it again.  Here goes.  It was a build it yourself wild west town kit.  It came with enough supplies to build about 8 to 10 very detailed buildings.  Here's the catch.  You built everything from small 1" wide X 3" or 4" long balsa wood planks that were maybe 1/8" thick as well as 1/4 square sticks that were maybe 8" to 10" long.  The tool provided in the set was a big black and yellow (mainly yellow) hand powered all in one wood shop for working the thin planks.  It had a built in table saw, sander/grinder, and a scroll saw.  All the blades were incased in a thick, clear plastic.  There was a big black T-handle that was connected to an internal flywheel, and the child would "rev it up" so to speak.  Then you just cut and work the wood as needed to build your model buildings.  The sticks provided a super structure and the planks were formed into walls, floors, windows, roof tiles, etc.  All together there were maybe a couple of thousand planks and a huge bundle of sticks.  There was a big guide book on building and painting everything.  I was just 5 or 6 years old and of course never built anything with it.  I just cut up the wood and anything else I could get into the saw.  Now when I think back on it, I can see it for what it really was.  A major disaster for a kids toy.  Yes the saw was made for kids, but the projects were to complex for most adults.  Any info you could send to me on this would be great.  I'll do my own leg work if I could just get a company or toy name at least.  Nobody has ever been able to answer this for me.  Well, thanks in advance and I hope this question doesn't rack your brains.

This was my first electric trainset I got it between 1957/1960 its now hard to remember exact year but the thing I do remember is it was powered by having to wind a handle on the dynamo to supply the current (hard work after a while)I have asked at toy fairs but have had luck to date. I have a children's wagon with Globe Racer on the side.  It is green in color and made of metal with hard rubber tires.  This wagon appears to be quite old and I would like to get some history on it if possible.  Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.Laurie
WALT DISNEY GAMES
I'm looking for two games I played as a child in the late 70's early 80's I believe one was named "Scrooged".  There was a blue plastic money bag with large paper colored coins.  The other game, I believe, had Mickey and Goofy.  The pieces were cardboard squares with tracks on them and you had to build some kind of track.  I remember there were dead end pieces in the game.  I would appreciate any information on the games.  Thanks
WONDER HORSE
I have a wonderful rocking horse that I received as a child in the mid 1960's.  He is made of a softer type of material., mostly grey and black, and his body covers his inner workings.  He has "Wonder Horse" on both has sides, so I have tried to find him under this name, but I have not seen one like him around.  He is mounted on a cross style tubing with the cross part being used for mounting purposes.  His most special feature is that when he is rocked back and forth his legs move independently from his body.  Each leg is molded separately and mounted by a spring attached to his inner frame.  I love this horse and he has went down many trails over the years, and I would like to know some family history on him, but I have no idea where else I can try. I cannot find a serial number or company name anywhere on him, maybe it's there, but I don't know where to look. I have tried finding him under Hedstrom, Rich Industries, and Wonder Products Co., but they do not show any others with moving legs like him. Can you help?  Thanks in advance.

WORM IN APPLE PENNY BANK
As a child in the 1980's I had a toy penny bank in the shape of a red apple, there was a button on top and when pushed a worm would come out, open his mouth so you could put your penny inside. Then he would go back into his apple and the penny would go down to the bottom of the bank. I know I didn\'t imagine this it was my favorite toy as a child but I can't even find the memory of one anywhere. Have I lost my mind???
