At first glance it's impossible to imagine how this canister of colorful plastic rods and white connector balls can create flowing bubble spirals and 3-D triangular bubbles. But the expertly written and illustrated directions make assembly simple (think old-fashioned Tinker Toys) while covertly teaching a few things about water chemistry (why soapy water creates bubbles) and physics (how design and aerodynamics factor into the shape and flow of a bubble).
