1. Toes, Ears, Nose! A Lift-the-Flap Book Toes, Ears, & Nose! A Lift-the-Flap Book
from Little Simon
Price: $5.99

Customer Review:
My Son loves these books. However, the flaps rip off very easily. He really misses these books! Without a lot of effort or very aggressive "lifting", these flaps on several of Karen Katz's books ripped right off.

2. Where Is Babys Belly Button? Where Is Baby's Belly Button?
from Little Simon
Price: $5.99

Customer Review:
These two books - Where Is Baby's Belly Button and Toes, Ears, and Nose are so similar, you only need one of them. And my boys prefer Toes, Ears, and Nose. I'm not sure why, but maybe it's because more body parts are discussed.

3. Counting Kisses: A Kiss Read Book Counting Kisses: A Kiss & Read Book
from Little Simon
Price: $7.99

Customer Review:
I love the illustrations, I love the text, I just love this book. But. But I want to kiss my daughter in all of those sweet places while I am reading her the book and I can't because I have to hold the book in one hand and my daughter in the other and become a contortionist to kiss her bellybutton.... more info

4. Excuse Me!: A Little Book of Manners Excuse Me!: A Little Book of Manners
from Grosset & Dunlap

Customer Review:
My 2 year old daughter loves this book. She loves the flip up pages and feeling the different textures. She tends to be pretty rough on books and this one is holding up great.

5. Daddy and Me Daddy and Me
from Little Simon
Price: $5.99

Customer Review:
Bought this for my husband to read to our daughter, but should have looked more carefully at the content because it's all about a little boy working with his dad on a project. Not really appropriate for father/daughter. Also, I do find that the flaps on these books are flimsy and hard to open.

6. Where is Babys Mommy? Where is Baby's Mommy?
from Little Simon
Price: $5.99

Customer Review:
My 20-month daughter absolutely loves this book. Lifting all the flaps and being suprised everytime to see what is behind them. Always when she finds the Mommy I say " There's mommy" she looks at me with her big brown eyes and says "NO" and points to me and says "Mommy". The book is absolutely... more info

7. A Potty for Me!: A Lift-the-Flap Instruction Manual A Potty for Me!: A Lift-the-Flap Instruction Manual
from Little Simon
Price: $7.99

Customer Review:
This and "Once Upon a Potty" are my son's (age 2) favorites. It's a great potty book, and personally, I think it's a plus that it's unclear whether the child in the story is a boy or a girl - that just means either gender will easily be able to relate. As for whether it encourages toddlers to use... more info

My 10 month old son loves these books so much. If he sees them he lights up and crawls over very quickly. He especially loves where is Baby's Mommy. 9. Over the Moon: An Adoption Tale Over the Moon: An Adoption Tale
from Henry Holt & Company
Price: $11.53

Customer Review:
I really like the simplicity of this book. It isn't overly graphic as some books on adoption are. It focuses more on the love that drives parents to wait, the anticipation in hoping every phone call is "the one," and the love we have for our children from day one. I felt very comfortable reading... more info

10. The Colors of Us The Colors of Us
from Owlet Paperbacks
Price: $6.95

Customer Review:
A great book describing differences in skin color in a positive and easy to understand way for a small child. My 3 1/2 year old loves this book and I've ordered 10 more to give as gifts. If only many of us adults had grown up thinking of people as "all the shades of us" (cinnamon, peach, french... more info
