Sizzletoad! is a board and card game based on two age-old favorites of children everywhere, namely “Rock-Paper-Scissors” and “Tic-Tac-Toe.”  It teaches and excites kids with the wonders of “gamesmanship,” counting, and how to “play the opponent” using ‘psych-out’ skills.  It is very fast paced, with rounds lasting just 1 or 2 minutes, and each full game lasting about 8 – 15 minutes.  It takes only a minute to learn Sizzletoad!, thanks to its simple rule set and the universal, “duel-action” symbols on the cards.

The box contents are: 1 folding 12” x 10” board, 24 cards, 4 colorful glass game stones (heart, star, and 2 shells in the standard game set), and 1 sheet of rules.  Sizzletoad! is easy for kids of any culture and language to learn, and is for 2 – 4 players, ages 4 to 7.

The Sizzletoad! game is based on a story currently being written by D. M. Weinstock (the game’s developer), entitled “The Adventures of Marcus and Sneegle: Inside the Valley of the Sizzletoads.”  An excerpt from that novel appears in very condensed form on the back of the game’s rule sheet that comes in the box.
